The making of an album

Bespoke and Bound combines passion, experience and craftsmanship in the creation of your unique luxury, leather bound edition, handcrafted in London.

Inspired by tradition and informed by experience, we fuse artisan bookbinding and leatherworking processes with contemporary design and print for understated, unforgettable, quintessential English style.

Follow the process

We choose the best quality vegetable tanned Italian bridle leathers and suedes, working in collaboration with J.T. Batchelors. For over 30 years, they have been supplying the finest leather to the luxury goods industry from their workshop in London's East End.

To get an idea of what we can create for you, Bespoke Service shows possible size, colour and design options. This is by no means exhaustive; we can design and make anything you want.

Tell us what you'd like

So you can get a feel for your finished album, we are happy for you to see samples of our leathers, suedes, papers, and examples of embossing options. Get in touch if you have any questions or need help.

You can expect your album in six to eight weeks, though we offer a rush service if you need it.

We can print on single or both sides of the paper. We like using 300gsm paper by GF Smith a weighty, durable stock that makes for beautiful end prints. Alternative papers can be sourced and samples supplied.

The printed pages are then punched and folded by hand, ready for binding into your leather album. The screw post enables you to add or remove pages as you wish.

Your Bespoke & Bound album can be personalised with blind embossed names, dates, events or family crests - it's your choice.

Your leather bound edition is presented in an embossed and handmade Bespoke & Bound box for storage, protection and presentation. We can deliver your album using a secure postal or courier service.
