Our core collection
Each hide is carefully selected by us which often means moving up to half a ton of leather by hand to find the most unblemished leather hides available. Our leather is 3mm organically vegetable tanned bridle leather. We prefer using Belgian leather as they have a more uniform grain and their density normally allows a crisper embossing. The spines are our own design and are made by hand. We delicately cover the spine in an unblemished section of goatskin suede. Solid brass posts are used to secure the pages. These allow pages to be removed, replaced or added to. Each album has a unique piece of hand marbled paper inside the front and back cover. These are made in England using traditional techniques. We choose a paper which compliments the combination of leather and suede you choose.
